WHAT to WEAR to Class : )
***********************************************************
Welcome to the Belly dance Adventure! You will need to wear something comfortable, stretchy and tight enough to see the body contours, so that I can make corrections.

Yoga pants and a T-shirt are fine. Leotard top and stretch pants are fine too. Please do not cover your legs with a skirt yet, as you are still an Intermediate! Also, feel free to wear anything that gets you in the mood for your personal adventure down the Nile, to your own Inner Goddess!

Bangles, long earrings, gypsy scarves around your hips, coin belts, socks or bare feet or ballet shoes (no street shoes allowed in the studio, or drinks-filtered water is available at break time.) ankle bells, anything that makes you feel exotic in appearance can help you find your Inner Goddess. Stay away from the mundane.

Three yards of chiffon fabric (any color that makes you happy) will be needed for Veil Dancing, which we are currently working on.

I'm so glad you're joining us!
Yours in the Dance,
Basmah

Here are a few comments from students:

"This instructor is extraordinary! Her class pacing, historical references & diversification of instruction, was perfect to me. This teacher is especially genuine, & a Master of her craft. I recently reserved for several & can't wait for more."

"The class was fun and was a good workout. Can't wait to go back."

I've taken classes under 2 other instructors - Basmah is hands above them. I really liked how she worked with everyone for technical correctness, but encouraged creativity and spontenaity based on how each of us move in our own way.

"Everyone was very nice!
